Refugees

Today's society is they divers. But all refugees have a lot in common. Most of these things are problems like fleeing they own country or making the journey to the US or someplace else. In this easy we will be looking at the Identity and diversity of refugees and some justice for them.  

The identity of a refugee is something that everyone should understand. The stories that I have read show that most of the people are fleeing some war torn country and trying to find a better life in the US. like the Kashak family that fled syria during the recent war. Some other words that refugees might use to talk about them self might be a displaced person, escapee, or asylum seeker. Gladly I do not share any experiences with refugees and i hope not to ever have to but one day I might.   

You might have not know that refugees something's differ a lot from each other. There are many types of refugees but the main ones are people fleeing from oppression or war or jus for a better life in a different country. Some of the challenges that these people may face are things like bandits, and poor living conditions, war zones, the crossing to another country, and in really bad conditions their own government. Most of these things are explained in the pot cast “Insight Into What It’s Like to be a Refugee”. From the article on the Windows and mirrors chart there is no articles about life in the actual refugees camps or any in depth. As we can see there are many different types of refugees and many difference challenges.

There are many things that we can do to understand refugees and give them justice. Some challenges that people outside the refugee group might have a hard time understanding is that not all people get away to the country they are fleeing to, as for the people in the article “Garden in Chicago lets refugees grow vegetables, and peaceful moments”  they are lucky to have found such a good place to settle down after getting into the US. One thing people can do to understand the life of a refugees is to read more articles like the ones in the windows and mirrors document. From what I have seen I don't think that the stereotype relay harms refugees. They are just people fleeing from war and oppression and i don't see how people could use that agents them to harm them.      

In this essay we looked the identity and diversity of refugees  and some justices for them. In the first paragraph I talked about how the identity of refugees is something that everyone should understand. In the second paragraph I talked about the diversity and differences about refugees. And in the last paragraph I talked about some ways that People can get justice and understand refugees. All and all people should be more accepting and understanding of refugees and what they go through.
