Women are underrepresented in the media and they are believed to only have one role in life. Women are so much more than that, they are empowering, strong and never back down. Women are thought to be weak and must stay at home to clean and cook. But we all know that is not the case and that women are capable of doing whatever they want to in life. Women show who they are through identity, diversity and justice.

Stories show that women never give up. They do not let any male get in their way. Women fight for what they believe in and do not let a man control them. Some experiences I share with some of the many women out there is that I became severely anemic at a young age and almost died due to the fact that my iron count was too low and that my body was not getting enough oxygen. I am supposed to be dead, but do to modern medicine I am with us. Now everyday I have to take meds so I will not have an extreme amount of blood coming out of me. I do not let that get in my way of being me and going outside and exploring. Many women have stories that define their character but you have just been too lazy to hear it.

Our diversity makes us see the that our differences bring us together and make us stronger. Every women looks different and they all come from different walks of life. Women are thought to be weak and cannot do nothing. That would be a false stereotype concocted by men so they could feel great about themselves and not care for anyone else's feelings. We need diversity if we want change to occur since our differences make us stronger.

Participants attend Respect Rally Park City on the one-year anniversary of the Women's March in Park City, Utah, on Jan. 20.Women face  stereotypes about how they act and who they are as a person. These stereotypes need to be broken down and people need to understand that stereotyping a woman is never okay. You may think that women are weak but the truth is men are weak and to make themselves feel better they but the women around them down. People assume so many things about a women that most of them are outrageous. Stereotyping brings down the self esteem and bring people down is not okay. We need the world to accept us for who we are and not for who they think we are.

Identity, diversity, and justice are the words I hear when I think about women. Women are strong and independent but at the same time they are thought to be weak and in need of someone to care for them. We need the people that govern our world to listen to the women and not think they know everything when they really do not.
