The social group collection that I chose is Immigrants. I chose this social group because I know people who are immigrants and whose parents are immigrants and have gotten deported. I want to write about this social group because I already know about both the Mexican race and immigrants and how there's no difference between them so I find it an an Ez A.

The stories that I’ve read about this social group show experiences such as pulling people over because they is Mexican or any other race thinking they are illegal so they pull em over and even legal Mexicans thinking they are illegal just to get money for the economy of Arizona. These experiences show how the cops are making money by pulling people over. This podcast explains the discrimination that immigrants face in certain parts of the country. Other words or ways that the individuals in this social group might use to describe themselves is that they just come to the states for a better life for there family but then getting deported and in for example in a song an artist whose parents were illegal in Santa Barbara he says “Mirando mientras tiran la comida y esposado Sentado en el piso, no más miran los niños El modo en que lo tratan, que ejemplo tan más fino Luego esos niños crecen a odiar Rayandole a la madre porque no es ciudadano Hace unos años arrestaron a mi jefe De ahi lo deportaron porque no tenía papeles Sufriendo en las noches, sufriendo en el dia Y todo por la culpa de los puercos y la migra Familias separadas, madres abandonadas Y hijo sin un padre, por gobierno que nos manda” which in English means that ICE and police thinks immigrants are the ones who are born to just bring drugs and more immigrants when its really the kids who grow into that because they illegal parents get seperated from them so they go out smuggling drugs and humans some starting at age 8, immigrants only want the best life for the future life, pretty soon they die and they just wanna die at least knowing they kids grow into a beautiful future they couldn't have, that's how the immigrants describe themselves but of course police and ICE are the ones who don't give that a break to stop that, because it's never going to stop no matter what.. The experiences that I share with individuals in this social group is I know immigrants I have a friend who grew into all that because hes a year older than me, he came into the states illegally when he was 4 years old, his family is illegal in total, i'm not sure what his future wants to be if he wants to have kids or not, but for what he does for everything he has he has worked on it he got it all on his own even if he gets it illegal, because if he does have kids when hes older, they are going to be legal, and I think he would want the best future for them as well he don't care his risk in the way he is getting his needs, its illegal, but for them its the right thing, there are two perspectives, one to look at the laws perspective, and the other to look at the illegals.

The challenges that individuals in this group face that other people outside the group might not understand are the risks that these immigrants take to have a better life. For example, in this source it shows families waiting for a train and a coyote to guide them into a better life still risking getting caught up by ICE on the way, some immigrants who try to make it and so close sometimes border patrol ends up shooting parents for tryna run and still make it across. I think that others can do the following to understand this social group: people know why immigrants want to come to the states to build up they family but of course they don't see the background of them in mexico they don't see why immigrants want the best for there family here, they just think they breaking the law by coming here illegally they think it's the right thing to treat them like animals in front of there kids. Assumptions that people might make about people who identify within this social group could be that they think Immigrants only live on crime and that they have no respect for the law. Stereotypes can negatively affect individuals who identify within this group because for example I have an old childhood friend who is illegal and he doesn't really get the opportunities as other Chicanos are getting because he is illegal, so that negatively affects him because he still has still needs his needs, he focus on that because he looks at it as if he has no future here because of the way the pigs and ICE treat immigrants, they break the law for there needs for themselves and they family. Stereotyping is wrong because its wrong of people assuming other people of there goals and how they are trying to get to them because they don't assume other people what they are doing because Immigrants and Mexicans know that anyone's life can end in a flash because most of them have already lost family and friends in Mexico which is why they wanted to move here for better future for their kids, but Non immigrant people and white people they know it to just that they don't care as much until it's them or their family a risk, and even white washed mexicans don't know it because just because they are Mexicans and wealthy and all they don't even care about they come from there history, they just say whatever they don't care, Immigrants, Mexicans, Blacks, etc, every kid that lives in what white people and white washed mexicans call Ghetto, the people who live in the ghetto understand family is much more valuable than anything else, life's beautiful life is beautiful depending on your point of view. Make the most of your time with your family before they end in a coffin, but other people don't really see this point of view till they lose someone very close to em, that's why stereotypes are wrong, they assume immigrants because of how they are without knowing what they been threw and everything they have been threw to get to the states for a future of their family.

Communities can give them a chance to help individuals within this social group. This will help the social group because by giving them a chance it will stop human trafficking, it will basically stop gang violence of Chicanos, no one is born bad, being born is good but being raised in bad influence is an other thing people don't know what they are talking about, if they give immigrants a chance they would raise a peacfull family without having the kids grow up wit hate and raised by the streets because they parents are tooken away and grow up without them except the clique owned by the cartel in there area, giving immigrants a chance will help the kids grow into a good future instead of growing up by hate, but since they aren't giving immigrants chances its making mexicans depending on their area make there own family in the streets making it for it ill live for it ill die because kids aren't going to obey the law given by the pigs that took there parents away making them suffer day and night. What I can do in particular to help this social group is just understand there point of view.
