Police brutality something that has become so common when you see it on the news you just sigh and go about your day. Just like the police after they have beaten and killed innocent children and teens.Imagine a murderer who kills and kills then applauded and cheered on by the public, It's wrong right? Well that’s what it’s like after they come into our homes, kill our sisters, brothers, and mothers then finding out they are suspended with pay. It’s absolutely insane but I bet it never crossed your brain and that's what is worst.
I wanted to focus on this social group because I'm apart of it and the rise in police brutality against my race and just minorities in general. It's unfair because the police are who we are supposed to call when we are scared or in danger, but the police killings scared us so much that it's just something you never do. Its sad that African Americans would rather try to find their missing kid on their own because we know the police wouldn't look or give the time of day unless the kid magically grew lighter skin or blond hair.
When you think about police brutality it’s obvious who’s perspective wasn’t seen and that is the innocent victims. All the police see is a “suspicious” person of color, not that they are getting medicine for there baby sister or walking to their job because their mom can’t pay the bills. Police don’t think from the person's perspective, and they don’t do what’s right . Minorities can’t depend on them without the fear of getting killed. This social group don’t get tickets when stopped for speeding; we get pinned to the ground and beat or kicked until we can’t breathe or shot to death for wearing a hoodie walking home before street lights come on just trying to make it to your home.

No one can ever truly understand others who have survived police brutality they don’t know the pain or the anger that you can’t release. People can only feel that disspointment when they have to explain to their kid that even when you do exactly what the police say they are not guaranteed their life, or even the fear you have to go through when passing the police anywhere!

Police brutality is out of control we have to come together as friends and just as a country in general. It takes more than one race and more than minorities. It takes more than putting police through harder training. To end this it takes mothers right now to inspire kids and show them the good in everyone and show them everyone is different and special. To love and laugh with everyone and most importantly to care.
