Places around the world are usually not home or welcoming places for immigrants. Even though most attention brought to immigrants are from the US/Mexican border they can come from anywhere. Ever since people have left their homelands they have had to deal with conflict on their migration, be that in the 40s to the 70s to the present. The diversity of the entire process of immigrant, is individual each process and experience is different, from where an immigrant may come from, who they are, or why they chose or had to move.
The identity of Immigrants is vast, from people who have been in different countries and moved into america as well as anywhere else. Or some who were brought through various different means to live in America, illegally. People who immigrated into America can be from various different backgrounds as they see themselves as refugees, workers, researchers, businessman, or even just a citizen. I am not an immigrant myself but without the process of immigration I would be on the same boat some people are on now, as I said in my form neither is my mother, she is a first born american but my grandfather was born in germany and immigrated to america with his family from germany. If my early family had not been able to immigrate into america I would be a kid in germany and may not ever had came here.

The definition of the word immigrant is a person who comes to live permanently in a foreign country. That does not define who they are, what they believe in, and not even what country they come from. They could be from England, Syria, Mexico, Canada, Africa, Ireland, literally anywhere else on the planet as written in https://newsela.com/read/historic-news-ellis-island/id/18135/. People who go through the immigration process and come out as fully registered citizen become a new person they feel unique in their accomplishments and become proud of what they are, who they are, and where they come from. Perspectives missing from this could be people who had live her legally but removed because of new laws, legislatures, or what they had did before being a citizen.
The challenges that immigrants face are enormous. Some who chose or were forced into crossing the border or arriving in the US, illegally are forced to lie low and stay out of sight. They need to stay hidden from any governmental force or border agency. Even if legal immigrants arrive in the US they still need to find a steady job with good pay like in https://newsela.com/read/deported-migrants/id/1013/. They need to find everything normal citizens need in a fraction of the time with no notice before. However their problems do not stop once they get processed and legalized, social acceptance is probably the hardest part of being an immigrant, ever since immigration became a larger scale change in american society people are opposed to new ideas or people regardless of the time, be it present or past, or even future. One of the simplest things to do to understand an immigrant and some of their problems, you could just ask, you could ask about their past their goals or the problems and if there is anything a single person could do. A lot of recent news has pointed to all immigrants being mexican, or arriving from the southern border as in https://newsela.com/read/ciudad-juarez-immigration-policy/id/50675/. But like my family we arrived from germany not mexico. When the irish immigrants arrived in america from the large famines in Ireland, the immigrants were negatively affected by stereotypes as being portrayed as drunk, irresponsible, or otherwise unsatisfactory. These ideas helped define these immigrants as overall negative people, just for wanting a new life in a new place. But what about people who want to help, communities all around the country offer new job opportunities and hire them as equals in pay and position. Individual who want to help can do everything from food donation to hiring, the choices are all up to what you can do.

Individual diversity is spread across all immigrants, as they all have different experience in their process and their lives. Each immigrant has their own reasons. They could have emigrated for a better life, for their family, or for a job. Each reason is unique. Immigrants do not have to come from mexico and arrive in the US their individual goal is different from anybody else’s. The term “immigrant” is not as advanced as some believe, the term immigrant is simply someone who moves from a country to live in another. An immigrant can face an extensive variety of challenges from their arrival to their acceptance in their new home. Where immigrants may have had to come from, who they are, or why they chose or had to move. These ideas allow an immigrant to become a singular person not defined by what another group sees in all of them.
